I wanted to know if it would be taboo to start a thread about where items are located, seeing as terahypt is such a large place it might be a good idea to share what we have found with everyone in one thread. What do you think?

I've thought about making item maps before, I even have a "how to daperoid" guide somewhere on pc I made.
But I think in a game which is solely about exploration and experiencing the lore it's not a great idea to map everything out. Sure you can talk about it in chat or throw it up in random threads, or when someone needs help with something. But just plainly listing item locations and such.. would be a bit wrong imo.

But, Yeah, well that's just my opinion man

I Agree with Catblaster. It would kind of ruin the mystery of the whole thing. Though I guess you could still make this thread for those who are interested as long as you use spoilers.
    e.g. Item X is in
    Location Y

Yeah and thats why i asked first, There are things i still can't find like the gun in the dessert, and the vine saucer, But you know if i visit a different country or new city the first thing i do is grab a map even though i want to explore and discover new things i still don't want to get lost ;).

Other than the green car and the 2 vans, is there any other vehicle in the arctic map. BY THE WAY if i wanted to spoil it i could just install the mod and it will tell me where it is. But i searched every map for every vehicle so i want to know if i missed something

While yes, the "mod" could tell you where it is, it doesn't mean it's useful for finding it. I mean, I get you could compare coordinates on a regular basis, playing a game of hot or cold with yourself...

ok but my initial question has not been answered. (Ive played this game for a while, and until this new artic map came along, i discovered everything. Now this map comes, and i can't seem to find anything other than the green car and 2 vans)

The Vinesaucer was removed after Vinny of Vinesauce finally had a play of an earlier build.

There's a Motus located a relative distance away from the spawn point, it would require a short drive to get there. If you want to find it:
get to the location with the two vans, then drive out into the flat lands and turn left, following the course of the mountains until you reach a gap in between them, drive through that gap until you're in the "center" of the map and turn right, again following the course of the mountains, you'll see a clearing where there's a tent that has been erected along with a wind turbine and a wood-burning stove and said Motus parked next to it.
Sorry if it's not that clear, but the lack of a compass and an actual map and distance units makes it quite difficult for me to make a more detailed explanation than this.

Ohhhhh the motus yes i forgot to mention i also found that. Thanks however. I think i found everything. Since what update have you had the game? Ive had it since update 11

Asking because I'm wondering if anything changed vehicle wise, considering that earlier in zerahypt syrsa tended to remove or modify existing vehicles.

I've had it since the initial build when it was just a green Kleiremus with a gun on the roof and a small area to drive around.

Wow so you are truly a veteran. Did you save each version, or did you just delete the older games. I kept each version until this current one because i knew syrsa was deleting stuff, so if he deleted something i really liked, i still have it in the old game. I don't know where my update 12 or 13 went though, probably corrupted

I still have the old versions archived, yeah, but only because I didn't bother to delete them. As is my understanding judging by the dates on the folders, the earliest builds came out around circa 2013 I think, including one build that was published as "Zerapedia". I am missing a couple of the updates though.

Wow. Do you have update 5 or 6. If so, can you please upload them. Its fine if you can't, if you're busy or something. Just asking because a co worker, who's a developer, told me of some "unstable" elements in these updates that some people overlooked. These aren't easy to find, but they are hidden gems because of the fact that they can be easily and effectively minipulated. If you can, then you can upload the program however you wish, but certain programs such as dropbox or google drive can easily let you share via link, secured or not, your choice. Thanks

Why would that be a necessity to find out now that we're way past that stage? I mean I can have a look but I'm unsure which update is which since I kinda renamed all the folders differently. I'd rather not upload archived versions of Zerahypt unless there's a demand for old versions with the community and/or Syrsa has no issues against me doing so. See what the admins have to say. I would mention them here but I don't think this forum has a mention plugin installed yet (I know there's one for vBulletin but I don't think there's one for XenForo).

Ok thanks a lot for even considering it. I'm not sure of what syrsa would say about it. by the way this update was released about 9 months ago and had the big cruiser in it at the desert map. ( syrsa replaced it with a medium sized cruiser in the next update. I talked to him about it, and he said that the reason he replaced it is because he said it doesn't belong there, just like the agrarian destroyer).

Yeah well, that old cruiser, though fun to muck about with, was in essence OP as hell, so it makes sense to either nerf it or replace it with something that's still powerful but within the limits of balance.

But yeah if you want archived versions to be uploaded, speak with the admins/Syrsa and see if they're okay with it before proceeding. I wouldn't want to irritate anyone by doing so.
