Looks great! Some advice though, hair is not a hat, so think carefully when positioning it on the head. I'm not saying to forget volume either! You'll get it over time! =D

Can you perhaps point me in the direction of a good hair tutorial? Proportions are one thing, and (usually) pretty easy for me to grasp, but I still struggle with making "shape-hair."
I love watching this guy, he's an ex riot employee who is currently working on his own comic. he does tutorials and art talk and i think he's up to episode 200+. But he mostly focuses on digital drawing. This is sycra, he also has tons of tutorials. usually talks about drawing in general and not just digital art. Watching his line art speed sketches helped me understand alot Hoped this helped
Thilians have softer features (especially the nose). Whatever humanoid species it may be though, it's a DAMN good drawing (sketching?) for a beginner.
An Asian nose would certainly be closer. However, assuming that Syrsa's drawings are 100% consistent with how they look in the universe, there is no human nose that can be the same as that of a thilians. Humans, all across the board, from white to black to asian to hispanic, simply look more masculine and have more defined features than thilians. Even women have more masculine features than thilians. It's just the nose as far as I'm concerned that truly separates a thilian from a human (and also the fact that thilians are apparently genderless. Although I think SYRSA really only put that piece there so as to deter people whining to him for some porn.). We cannot have a nose like the one you see in the picture. It never happened. Ever.
