It is understandable to be wiped out by a vehicles's main cannon, but it is annoying to be walking down a steep hill and to just fall down. A health indicator of some kind would make the seemingly random deaths explainable. Recovery over time would be nice but isn't needed.
I don't know how health works exactly but I suspect it's a one-hit-kill sort of thing. It only takes one strong enough injury to die and smaller ones seemingly have no effect. So if this is and remains the case there's not much use in a healthbar :/
