Repair Vehicle function: Pretty self explanatory, itd be nice to be able to repair a damaged vehicle, specifically after they are considered "destroyed" and cant be controlled anymore. Id prefer a specific button that can be used on foot to fully repair any controllable vehicle, along with a function to repair a vehicle while you are in it and its destroyed. Id like it to be timed too so its not an instant action, hold a certain button to repair a vehicle on foot and within a vehicle. I think it should take longer to repair from within a vehicle rather than on foot.

-On foot- Faster repair time at the risk of being vulnerable to threats
-In vehicle- Much slower repair time but you are safe from most outside threats (i suggest a cooldown on repairs within the same vehicle so you cant just sit in something while youre being molested by mevnav or akbars and spam the repair every time you get destroyed and be technically invincible)

Ceptopod suggestion(s): I love the new look of the ceptopod, although i liked the look of the old pods wings better then the black ones. I dont mind sacrificing invulnerability for control over weapons; but i think that on behalf of my previous suggestion, the ceptopod should still be "Invincible" in its own way. Considering its our primary form of transportation it seems way too weak, i think it should be alot more resistant to impacts, specifically impacts into terrain and solid objects; i personally think its perfectly fine against enemy fire but it is too weak if you hit something. If a form of repairing vehicles isnt implemented, i think that the Ceptopod should atleast be able to self-repair after a short time and be fully functional. I also feel that the Ceptopods AI is more retarded now, its probably just buggy in some way but in general it feels more retarded; often ill call my Ceptopod to come over so i can get around, and if its from really far away it tends to run me over when it actually gets to me and it kills me, it wont even stop; and half the time because of how weak the pod is to terrain impact it tends to ram into things at full speed and destroy itself, if it were to have any sort of invincibility again i think it should be invulnerable when its being AI controlled because it seems too stupid to function on its own now.
I also think the Ceptopod should have a slight speed increase, or a boost function that pushes it to 200-230 Km/h.

-PS. would it be possible for you to add an option to use Mi/h instead of Km/h for people who prefer non-metric over metric measurements? If you could, would you put it in the same menu as the Mouse Sensitivity options?

First and foremost, this would need a re-implementation of not dying when the vehicle is destroyed which would be nice regardless
Also instead of a cooldown or whatever, I feel like it'd be better if you could instantly or near-instantly repair any vehicle, but only once for every time a cell is loaded.
The ceptopod isn't agrian anymore; its not going to be invincible. A boost to the damn thing's health or whatever would be nice tho.
The concept is nice, but it's unlikely. The ceptopod is more a taxi service than an in-cell means of transportation or combat utility
This would also be nice, but knowing Syrsa, if he even sees this its going to be less "I'll think about it" and more "Fuck imperial measurements America needs to use metric anyway"

Yeah, I agree, fuck the imperial system
Jokes aside, it's pretty much a necessary feature to fix your vehicle, it's kinda silly that you have to go home and expect the universe to be restored back to default to get a new instance of that vehicle that you destroyed but now there is no evidence of any damages... Wait, is Pirizuka travelling between dimensions?

Zerahypt is meant to be realistic, so vehicle repair probably wouldn't be as viable as it is in other games. it's not where you can just throw a wrench at the vehicle and all of the damage is immediately gone. however, if pirizuka got her hands on the proper materials to do so it's very possible that in a few hours, your vehicle could be puttering around the desert again. maybe that could be implemented somehow with the mining system being used to harvest raw supplies in order to fix stuff.

The ceptopods AI is always improving after each update. But since it's a vehicle Pirizuka have personally chosen, it comes with features she wanted. She doesn't like going too fast, since she has health issues regarding sudden forces like shocks from crashing a vehicle and falling great distances, thus she've decided her pod to be pretty laid back in the moving department.

Pirizuka isn't either a combat person, so she hasn't considered making her pod excel in battle preformance, only having a pair of weak blasters for basic self-defence.

And the repair suggestion. It sounds game-ish and eliminates interesting solutions. My idea would be that you could have a repair drone with you, as pirizuka knows fuck all about repairing machines. But this drone could only patch up parts with 3D-printing technology, not being able to re-create the original strength of the material it is repairing, meaning your vehicle would only last for a short while before breaking again.

Real 100% strength repair happens with skilled mechanics for 30+ minutes in real life, but you wouldn't want that. So you'd be better off using this drone repair only when you're going to return to safety.

A repair drone sounds nifty i like that, and regarding the ceptopod, that makes sense too

Please notice Invincible was in quotations i wasnt directly suggesting any type of invulnerability. I was suggesting the Ceptopod be reusable after destruction, not completely indestructible in combat, etc. I find being completely indestructible while being able to obliterate/harass other enemies etc to be boring and underwhelming; it ruins the fun for me in any game. I was just thinking that the Ceptopod being able to repair itself after a short time (like 30-90 seconds) wouldnt be to far-fetched, its not "Invincibility" in my opinion because theres a punishment for being an idiot with it; if you break it in the middle of nowhere or in the middle of an army of akbars you get kicked out and depending on your situtation you are sitting round for around a minute waiting for your pod to repair itself, and if you ARE surrounded by a threat 1 minute is a long time, alot can happen in 1 minute. But thats just my opinion.

@SYRSA Just a small mention, i noticed the Locust helicopter doesnt have a way to descend unless the rotor is turned off, could you at some point add a descend control? Preferably "L-Shift" to Descend. I thought itd be better to just mention it here rather than making an entire new thread or something for it.
