Also, turning is an absolute mess, she never knows whether the right arrow key means "turn right" or "turn left."

realistically, she shouldnt be able to turn at all in 0-g without some propulsion
when walking around you gotta be careful. if theres not enough of a normal force pushing back, shell just end up going the wrong direction
syrsa likes to make the physics of zerahypt as realistic as he can, and walking in 0-g is one example of this

Realistically, she should be baked and dried into Thilian jerky by the estrellite's radiation while cruising past the inaudible Gentleminerals in a precessing elliptical orbit, but that isn't what happens in Zerahypt. And pretty much everything Agrian-made uses reactionless "archo" drives, even when obvious exhaust plumes are present (which I think includes Yzmir/Izmir, actually).
I don't see how that would affect the Shift/Ctrl vertical control mechanisms, though.
LMAO, yeah right! Is that why pitching up in a loop-de-loop almost immediately cancels practically all of your momentum?

Don't try to sound like a smartass blaming my choice of realism while lazily nitpicking on small details I just haven't bothered with (adding different thruster effects when things are in space or not isn't as high priority as getting the mechanics right). Don't let it get to your head, I have low tolerance for this kind of stuff.

But I wasn't even criticizing your choices at all. FonkDerok said that it is unrealistic to begin with that Pirizuka is able to turn/move at all in zero-G, and I gave examples for why that was irrelevant. I think the realism choices you've made so far are totally fine as they are.

Well, from how cats can right themselves downwards when dropped with their paws up. And with how I've seen astronauts rotate themselves by just gyrating in a specific way. I don't think it's that impossible for Pirizuka to rotate herself in zero-g.

Actually now that I think of it, you're probably right, even though it doesn't make any physical sense to me yet, but that isn't really the point.
