If you pilot a vehicle off the cliff and wait for it to stop at the bottom, you can exit and walk around. While walking, press RMB to bring the camera into FPV, then let go and it becomes a static camera. If you brought the aircraft down, you can fly it around like an RC airplane :). The rescue Pod can be also summoned from down there, however the Parking Brake's [P] symbol is inverted in that while it's blinking, the brake appears to be OFF, and not shown equals ON.
