I thought I would make this thread for the others who also have their own particular lores other than SYRSA. Now some of you might think that why won't I tell about my lore. Answer: I don't have one... (Forgive my English I'm terrible at it)
I have a lore! I have been writing a book series on it for quite some time Unfortunately i only have 2 out of 6 books complete, as i have found it rather difficult to write due to a crippling chronic condition i have called laziness
Fuck you, I'm way more lazy than your productive ass. I don't even have one book out, fucking trash memester.
There's no need to be rude, i was just stating the facts Besides, didn't you say you had no lore to speak of? How would you write books on it if it didn't exist?
Same I've got a lore worked out and 4 books planned, but only a few chapters of one book actually written
So it's a work in progress? Honestly, if you're planning on creating some sort of media type to represent it, i wouldn't recommend writing books. The last one i wrote was 2 years ago, and it barely counts as canon anymore because of all the renaming and changes I've done. It's probably better that i haven't written anything else since then, considering that my series would look completely different had i finished it only a few months ago. Writing good stories is hard enough, anyway.
Yes, I have 2 work-in-progresses and one other is a fan-fiction, the latter of which is my current project. That said, I can certainly write books about them, whenever I write something down it becomes semi-permanent. I mean, I've gotten through 3 iterations of my current project because I've disliked how I structured the story and the lore changes with those iterations, that's called writing. So it's not like I'm not predisposed to the same challenges that you face but every time I don't like a story I scrap it and turn it into something better. Besides, I don't think I'll ever plan out an entire saga. At least in the case of lore; I make them for the purpose of writing a story.
i feel like if you wanted to avoid that, you should work out a lore you like and want to work with before you actually do much writing
LUL Just kidding I have a lore, though I don't have any books about it or me even bound to make one. It's just stuck to my brain circulating my mind into my own fictional universe and make me write my own year format in my test papers....
