Menu mod (needs to be updated)

This is my first mod, but I think it's pretty good. And rather useful. I have created a menu accessible by pressing I and clicking on the menu button. Here are a few screenshots, since I'm to lazy to describe everything in text.

Notice the button in the upper left.

All the buttons work properly, but the menu doesn't pause the game. I do plan on adding the ability to save your game, and possibly even a pause function, but that is for a later date. You can download the mod below.

If there's a major issue, post a reply. Be aware using the map change buttons to much or to fast can crash the game.

(update: Full mod posted. I finally worked out the bugs, so far. The menu cannot be opened by pressing escape anymore, but that isn't a problem, since you have to press I to click the buttons anyway. Also, the menu is now disabled when you are in a vehicle to prevent glitches.)

Where do I find Pirizuka's model? I'd like to try and change the colours.

 

Sorry charlie, but that there's a tough bit o' business. Really though, unless you want to put literal weeks worth of work into it, you can't. What part did you want to change, anyway?

 

Just the colour of the clothes.

 

Well, I honestly haven't figured out how to mess with colors. I don't know how to help with that. Sorry.

It's not going to be simple, you are going to need to mod the game and if you haven't done any programming before then i suggest you start with the basics

Well, piri's model is a stupidly detailed model. I bet you can do it that way, but again, its not a simple task. I loaded her .obj file into blender on time, and i think it had a number of prims* somewhere in the millions. Not trying to deter you. Every coder has challenges they run into. If you are determined enough, and you have the skills and the time, you can do just about anything.


*Prims: primary polygons. Every model is made up of them in various sizes and shapes.

 

And the point of just showing us the finished tele menu was to what, boast around?

And if we need the tele menu?

Very simple. If somebody won't need that, they won't use the teleport abilty. However, it does not decrease the amount of handy-ness of this mod, therefore there is basically no point in not including said ability (unless, you're timberwolf a jew about kilobytes, of course).

If you didn't notice, this is a SHOWCASE area, where you can go SHOW OFF your work. That is exactly what I was doing.
